The Corris Railway (Welsh: Rheilffordd Corris) is a narrow gauge preserved railway based in Corris on the border between Merionethshire (now Gwynedd) and Montgomeryshire (now Powys) in Mid-Wales. The line opened in as a horse tramway, running originally from quays on the River Dyfi at Morben and Derwenlas, skirting the town of Machynlleth and then following the Dulas Valley north to Length: 58 chains (1, m) (operational).
Following erroneous edits stating the loco has been bought by the railway, this is not the case, as can be ascertained from the railway's Guidebook and Stocklist. The loco has been lent to the railway on long-term loan, and could be recalled by the owners at any time with reasonable notice.
